The Paediatrics Department has a vacancy for a full-time neuropaediatric PH from November 2021, with the possibility of a full-time assistant post at the CHU if you wish to do a post-internship.
The role involves providing general neuropaediatric consultations, advice in paediatric emergencies and in the General and Specialist Paediatrics Department. Neuromuscular orientation desirable.
The current team consists of :

a full-time PH working exclusively in the Centre de Diagnostique des Troubles des Apprentissages (Diagnostic Centre for Learning Disorders)

a full-time PH responsible for the Centre de Compétence des Epilepsies Rares Adultes/ Enfants with a general neuropaediatric activity

part-time PHs (0.5 + 0.3 + 0.2) providing advice in the neonatal intensive care, paediatric and antenatal diagnosis departments and neuropaediatric consultations.
The genetics department has a strong presence in paediatric neurology, with 2.5 FTE clinical geneticists and the possibility of joint consultations and in situ exome analysis. A paediatric SSR day hospital team is also based in the centre, as is a child psychiatry team.
The technical facilities include :
- a paediatric neurological functional explorations laboratory with 3 IDEs, operating Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm (EEG and EMG exploration, PEA)
- a paediatric MRI, scheduled for installation in 2022
There are two ways to provide permanent care:
- on-call duty in paediatric emergencies
- on-call at weekends in the paediatric department
Neuropaediatrics at Reims University Hospital includes the Reference Centre for Adult and Child Neuromuscular Diseases, the Competence Centre for Intellectual Disability and the Competence Centre for Cerebellar Anomalies.
